Ingredients:

Directions:

Place ¼ cup dried nettles in a quart jar. Grate frozen lemon into jar (yes, peel and all). Pour boiling water to rim.  Cap and let infuse overnight.

In the morning, strain and add a touch of honey to your liking.

Sip and enjoy!

Lemon-Head Smoothie

You  can use part of the lemon peel to create a stronger tasting lemon flavored  smoothie

1 lemon, peeled and seeded

1 banana, frozen

1 tsp stevia

1/2 cup water

3 ice cubes

Blend the lemon with the water. Add the banana, stevia, and ice and blend again. Refreshing!

  4. awesome…last night i did:

    lemon flesh
    lemon rind
    ginger root
    stevia (a packet serving)

    portioned by using small sandwich bags put them to freeze.
    I enjoyed mine slushy, DELICIOUS…but the intent was to make a smoothie the next day as a morning eye opener…therefore i am happy to have found your site to verify the BLESSINGS of the valuable consumption of the whole lemon.
    I might add that it was an experiment because i to enjoy the true benefit of foods.

  5. I put the lemon peel in the blender, pour in half a bottle of room tempeture bottled water add a little honey, hit the liquefy button, pour back into bottle and enjoy.

    Yay. I’m just starting to eat the peel and it is not all that bad. I have came up with my own health drink using the lemon and orange zest and it taste yummy!!! Every thing you do extra is sure to help!!!
